New gigdates! We'll be opening for Keith Caputo (USA) this Thursday (1.10.) in Nosturi, Helsinki. The gigs with Freak Kitchen have multiplied by one in Tampere and so it's turning out to be a nice little mini-tour-kind-of-thingy. Check out our Myspace-blog for more info about what's happening in the world of The Dash at the moment.

Once again it's been far too long since I last updated this page. Sorry about that.
As you may have noticed, we haven't done any gigs for a while. We have all been keeping ourselves busy with other activities, but now that is about to change and it's time to activate ourselves on the The Dash-front again.
Couple of gigs with Freak Kitchen (SWE) coming up for starters. Come see.

The album was mastered on Monday and now the seemingly infinite process of making it is at it's end. In other words, we're done.

Our producer Pekka Laine begun mixing the album yesterday. Loads and loads of hard work is behind us (some still in front of us), and now
it seems that the finish-line is finally drawing closer. Can't wait to hear the final mixes...

Sorry for being so quiet during the last few months. We've been busy recording our debut album. The recordings are about 90% done and it's sounding awesome!

Due to other duties, Antti won't make it to the Semifinal gig in May, so we'll be trying out something special with a little bit different line up. Come see - should be interesting, to say the least.
And if someone is coming to see us live on the 13th (Sun.) at Klubi, please show up early. We'll be blasting out the first song at 6 pm already.

Last Thursday (27.03) we did a sold out gig in Nosturi with Simple Plan.
Goddamn... Still hard to find the words to describe it. For us it was the best gig ever! A gigantic hug to everyone who came to Nosturi that night (a few extra for those who raised their hands up already halfway through the first song).
The next chance to see us live is 10.04 @ Kuudes Linja, Helsinki with 45 Degree Woman. Added a couple other dates to the Gigs-section as well.

The new date for Tampere is 13.04.08.
Now there is five of us on stage (has been for the last two shows now). Sounds great. Come see/hear.
Lauri gave up playing guitar live and concentrates now fully on lead vocals and playing keyboards. Taking Lauri's place
behind the other guitar and adding another voice to our backing vocals is Antti Kajanus.
